ABOUT RICHARD GIROLAMI
Richard has worked with the human body for more than 20 years. His philosophy is that all healing begins with a physical, emotional or energetic shift in understanding or perspective. After receiving his first degree from Arizona State University in exercise physiology, he moved to Hawaii to complete his Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Upon receiving his license for acupuncture, he went to China to work in a TCM hospital, study, travel and teach yoga.
After returning home Richard found an intense interest in structural integration and the work of Ida Rolf and is now certified in Anatomy Trains Structural Integration and holds an advanced certificate in Zenbodytherapy®. For the last 12 years, he has worked privately with clients and visited clinics and healing centres in the US, Asia and Europe.

TREATMENT EXPLAINED
This bodywork session addresses each person individually through a combination of careful structural reorganisation,movement of energies using TCM principles and focused attention with breath. Client and practitioner work together to bring the body and mind towards a state of balance. No oil is used, and the work is designed to be active using breathing, movement, fascia manipulation and energy points to facilitate significant change. Physical tension, pain and stagnant energies, which have become stuck in the body from injury, stress, trauma and postural imbalances can be released with the help of this treatment.
