SACRED RENEWAL

A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY INTO INNER STRENGTH AND LASTING GROWTH

PROGRAM GOALS

RECOMMENDED FOR

YOU WILL BE WORKING WITH

As people around the world seek more meaningful, soul-nourishing ways to care for their health, a new chapter of wellbeing is emerging, one that honours both ancient wisdom and healing science. Sacred Renewal is an immersive journey designed to realign the body, mind, and inner awareness with the natural rhythms of the universe. Grounded in the understanding that human beings are not separate from nature but direct expressions of it, the program integrates the enduring wisdom of the Vedic tradition with evidence-based insights from modern science. Contemporary research confirms what ancient wisdom have long recognised: our physiology, hormonal balance, sleep patterns, emotional states, and mental clarity are deeply influenced by circadian and lunar cycles. Sacred Renewal works consciously with this biological reality, some also choosing to align the program with the waxing phase of the moon (Shukla Paksha) – a period traditionally associated with growth, clarity, and expansion. By synchronising inner work with this natural upward momentum, sustained personal development is supported.

The journey is structured around the Pañcha Mahābhūtas, the five fundamental elements—Earth, Water, Fire, Air, and Ether—each linked to key biological processes and psychological functions. Through this elemental framework, Sacred Renewal supports structural integrity, circulation, metabolism, respiration, and nervous system balance, while cultivating stability, emotional fluidity, mental focus, and inner stillness. To encourage meaningful and lasting change, the journey works across multiple layers of the human experience. Drawing on ancient maps of consciousness, it integrates physical awareness, breath regulation, mental clarity, and deeper states of presence. The practices are experiential and accessible, including mindful movement to ground the body, pranayama to support nervous system regulation, mantra to enhance internal coherence, and meditation and reflection to cultivate insight and sustained mental clarity.

Sacred Renewal is designed for those seeking a grounded yet profound reset – an opportunity to reconnect with nature’s rhythms, build resilience, and restore balance across physical, emotional, and mental dimensions. By allowing growth to unfold in harmony with natural cycles, the program supports clarity, vitality, and a renewed sense of purpose.

BIO-IMPEDANCE ANALYSIS

BIA is a method of measuring several key health markers including levels of hydration, the ratio of body fat against lean muscle mass, and cellular vitality. This helps to determine a realistic measure of your health and wellbeing. This information is useful for setting goals for weight management and fitness, and for making appropriate recommendations to achieve a better body balance to improve overall health and prevent illness. Body Bio-Impedance Analysis gives valuable information on cellular health, metabolism and toxicity to help create naturopathic, nutrition, or exercise programs suited to your individual needs.

YOGA NIDRA

A deeply restorative guided meditation, known as “yogic sleep”, that leads you into a state between wakefulness and sleep. This practice helps release tension, balance the nervous system, and restore mental clarity while promoting profound physical and emotional relaxation.

ELEMENT CLEANSING PRACTICE - BHUTA SHUDDHI

Bhuta Shuddhi is a gentle yet powerful yogic practice that helps cleanse and balance the five natural elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—within you. Through energy activating gentle movements, aligned postures, simple breathwork, specific hand gestures (mudras), visualization, energy locks (bandhas) element specific mantra recitations and guided awareness, this practice supports the smooth flow of energy in the body and helps realign the chakras, or energy centers. As you connect with these elements, you begin to feel more grounded, balanced, and clear. It also brings harmony to the different layers of your being (known as koshas), from your physical body to your inner self.

SPIRITUAL GUIDANCE SESSION

This individual session offers personalised spiritual support and provides a space to address any questions or experiences that may have arisen during the program, including specific practices or personal reflections. The session also allows for deeper guidance on one’s elemental cleansing ritual, if needed.

KAMALAYA SIGNATURE TREATMENT - THREE TREASURES

According to ancient Taoist theory, the body has three main energy centres – the ‘Three Dantian’ also known as ‘Three Treasures’ – where our life force or vital energy ‘Qi’ is gathered, stored and distributed throughout the entire body. This treatment combines healing methods selected for their ability to activate, harmonise and balance the ‘Three Treasures’ in order to restore the flow of vital energy for healing and revitalisation. These include techniques from Tui Na massage, Reiki and crystal healing as well as aromatherapy using Kamalaya’s bespoke ‘Three Treasures’ oil blends created specifically for this treatment. As well as supporting the individual function of each energy centre, it promotes an enhanced balance and harmony of the mind, body, emotions and spirit and creates an overall feeling of peace and integral alignment.

TRADITIONAL ASIAN FOOT MASSAGE WITH HERBAL FOOT SOAK

Kamalaya’s Asian Foot Massage with Herbal Soak is a nourishing treatment which begins with a warm foot soak infused with locally sourced fresh and dried herbs renowned for their therapeutic properties. These herbs help to reduce muscle tension & stress, induce better sleep, inhibit arthritis, reduce inflammation and improve overall blood circulation. To ensure optimum benefits, the water temperature in the foot bath is set as close to 43 degrees Celcius as is comfortable. This allows the warmth to gradually penetrate and move up the legs and deeper into the body, bringing with it a welcome sense of calm and rejuvenation. A traditional Asian Hand Massage is then performed to open the energy channels of the chest and related organs, as well as opening the lungs for deeper breathing and the release of accumulated stress and emotions. Following this, a Traditional Asian Foot Massage works on specific pressure points to systematically activate nerve reflexes, thereby stimulating all of the body’s organs and tissues to improve overall function and wellbeing.

REIKI

Reiki, a Japanese word meaning ‘Universal Life Energy’ is a therapy in which the Reiki healer is a channel or conduit for the energy. Reiki is an extremely effective technique for stress release and total relaxation. A sense of peace, vitality, and joy combined with the extremely pleasant feeling of security are common experiences. Reiki accelerates the body’s natural healing power and opens the mind, body and spirit in order to restore balance on an emotional and mental level. It is a nurturing energy that harmonises the mind, body and soul.

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is the contemporary version of China’s 3,000-year-old medical system originating in Taoist philosophy. This ancient healing tradition is based on the recognition that there is a natural energy that resonates with the rhythms and cycles of life to which we are all connected. It is a comprehensive theoretical system based on the knowledge that vibrant health on all levels is the direct manifestation of a life lived in harmony with the principles of nature. The cycles, rhythms and principles of nature are thought to be fully expressed within the human body in the form of the Five Elements. Therapies and treatments used include well-established techniques such as acupuncture, herbal medicine, massage, nutrition, Qi Gong and forms of Chinese internal practices (breath, visualisation and movement) for cultivating Qi or vital energy and directing it towards the healing of self and others.

MARMA POINT MASSAGE

Marma points are energy pathways where the body and mind communicate. Working on 107 energy points throughout your body to release toxins and relieve stress and tension, a Marma Point Massage will leave you in a state of complete harmony and bliss. A cleansing and harmonising therapy, it is a combination of energy balancing along with a subtle and circular stimulation of the Marma points. This therapy will leave you with a long-lasting sense of calm, rejuvenating your entire body.

TRATAKA MEDITATION

Trataka is a traditional yogic practice of steady gazing on a single point, typically a candle flame. This meditation cleanses the eyes, stills the mind, and awakens inner clarity and focus. Perfect for grounding and enhancing mental clarity. It teaches us to hold steady amidst distraction, to see clearly not only with our eyes but with the inner eye of wisdom.

MORNING RITUALS

Awaken your senses and set the tone for the day with this immersive 90-minute yogic ritual. The session begins with Neti, a traditional nasal cleansing technique to open and clear the breath. From there, you will be guided through Granthi kriyas—gentle internal movements that help release energetic blockages along the spine, creating space for deeper flow. As the body warms, Sukshma vyayama (subtle joint and muscle activations) awaken the physical body through mindful, therapeutic movements. The practice culminates in Pranayama, a series of breathwork techniques that calm the mind, and leave you feeling centered, refreshed, and ready for the day ahead.

SPIRITUAL DISCOURSE

A reflective and interactive session offering deeper insight into the ancient philosophies behind yogic and meditative practices. Through open dialogue and guided reflection, we explore timeless teachings from the the ancient texts. This session provides the philosophical context for practices like Bhuta Shuddhi, Trataka, Yoga Nidra, and Pranayama, helping you understand not just how to practice, but why. Designed to nourish the mind and spirit, this discourse invites inquiry, clarity, and a more meaningful connection to your inner journey.

YOGA SESSION

A personalised Yoga practice designed to align with the five elements—earth, water, fire, air, and space—while balancing the corresponding chakras. This session focuses on and guides you through a thoughtfully curated sequence of postures that activate and harmonise the energy centers.

TRADITIONAL THAI MASSAGE

Thai massage is based on the discovery of ten invisible energy lines called Sen, which run along the body. Your journey begins with a masterful combination of Thai stretching techniques and deep tissue pressure point massage. This stimulates the blood flow, releases toxins and allows the body to naturally heal itself and restore suppleness. Daily Thai Massage can help accelerate the pace of the detoxification process and reduce any discomfort.

CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY

Craniosacral Therapy (CST) is a profoundly restorative treatment that uses a gentle, hands-on approach to promote balance and harmony within the body. This therapy focuses on aligning the autonomic nervous system by harmonising the sympathetic (SNS) and parasympathetic (PNS) divisions, fostering a state of equilibrium and wellbeing. Recognising the body’s interconnected nature, CST works to release restrictions in the craniosacral system using a soft, precise touch. By addressing imbalances, it enhances the central nervous system’s functionality and positively impacts other vital systems, including the digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory and circulatory systems.

ROYAL AYURVEDIC MASSAGE

A traditional Indian massage using a combination of soothing and symmetrical long strokes to regulate the circulatory and nervous systems of the body. This detoxifying therapy uses warm herbal curative oil to leave you feeling refreshed, balanced and rejuvenated. The oils are generously poured over the entire body and then vigorously massaged into the skin. This traditional Indian massage detoxifies your body and revitalises your spirit. A steam bath is recommended following this massage.

THREE TREASURES

According to ancient Taoist theory, the body has three main energy centres – the ‘Three Dantian’ – where our life force or vital energy ‘Qi’ is gathered, stored and distributed throughout the entire body. Each Dantian is associated with particular physical, emotional and psychological functions and each is brimming with a specific type of energy. Collectively, the Dantian are referred to as the ‘Three Treasures’.

SHIRODHARA

Shirodhara therapy works through to the deepest levels of one’s being. ‘Shiro’ translates from Sanskrit as head, and ‘dhara,’ as flow. A stream of warm, medicated oil is poured continuously on the forehead which helps to connect and energise the ‘nadis’, various channels that sustain our lives – from the circulation of fluids on the physical level to the subtle currents running through the meridians, chakras and auras. Using technical skill and intuition, this specialised treatment helps to improve blood supply, thereby increasing the flow of nutrients and oxygen, relieving tension, and promoting a clear pathway for nerve impulses to balance the nervous system and restore vitality. Shirodhara is recommended for sinus congestion, insomnia, and for clarity of mind. It is highly recommended that you avoid the sun for several hours after your treatment.
