BEHANDLUNGEN ERKLÄRT

Maria’s integrative approach combines structural integration with scar tissue therapy. This manual treatment is not passive – Maria assesses the whole body, looking at resting posture, global movement and persistent pain patterns due to injury, accidents, stress, tension, trauma and repetitive motion. The treatment will transform your movement patterns so that it is more fluid and resilient, you will experience immediate relief and long-term changes to chronic issues.

Structural integration therapy, also known as Rolfing after its founder Dr Ida Rolf, is a scientifically validated process of restructuring the body through the direct manipulation of the nerves and fascia – the main connective tissue in the body. This is complementary to scar tissue therapy, which uses light touch manual therapy techniques to promote improvement in scars, both in the appearance and their underlying effects on the body, including inflammation and pain.
